Basil is a six year old, Shagya Arabian stallion. Like most of his breed, he stands somewhere around sixteen hands high. He exhibits traits similar to the Arabian breed, with a high carried tail, sound bone structure, and excellent endurance. Though due to the non-Arabian breeding, he is taller, less refined, and bigger-boned than many of the pure-bred Arabians. He is neither light or dark.
There is many abnormal things about Basil. The first you see is his strange coat coloring. While few horses are actually born white, since his first breath he has been pure white, not a spot different. Though his mane and tail are a light blue color, which is what often attracts most others to him. He isn't the strongest, even with the advantage of thicker bones, but he certainly is very fast. Instead of having long, slow strides, he has very fast, short strides due to a shorter back. This also allows him to turn quicker and maneuver around things easier.
His primary mode of living is focused internally, where he takes things in primarily via intuition. His secondary mode is external, where he deals with things according to how he feels about them, or how they fit with his personal value system. Basil places great importance on having things systematic in his outer world, needing a solid structure before he can continue with anything. He puts a lot of energy into identifying the best system for getting things done. On the other hand, he operates within himself on an intuitive basis which is entirely spontaneous. Consequently, he puts a tremendous amount of faith into his instincts and intuitions. This is something of a conflict between the inner and outer worlds, and may result in him not being as "there" as others tend to be.
He is protective of himself, sharing only what he chooses to share and when he chooses to share it. He is a deep, complex individual, who is quite private and typically difficult to understand. He holds back most of himself, and can be secretive. He has a tendency to be stubborn and to ignore other people's opinions.
Once you get to know Basil- if you get to know Basil, you'll start to realize the other parts of his abnormality. You could almost consider him a ghost, except for he's solid and you can feel him. But he himself is incapable of feeling, emotionally and physically. There is advantages and disadvantages to this though. While he can't feel pain, which would greatly aid him in battle, he can easily overdue it. Since he doesn't pay attention to these things it would be very easy for him to pass out due to blood-lose or break a leg and never be able to walk right again, just because it doesn't hurt and he wouldn't do anything about it. If he wasn't watching and you touched him, he wouldn't even know.

Oh, and this would be my first powered character.
